About DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings is best known for their wildly popular daily fantasy sports games. They’ve since expanded their offering to include a full sportsbook and casino. DraftKings is a publicly traded US-based company operating out of Boston, MA.

DraftKings Welcome Bonus
DraftKings welcomes new players to their sportsbook with $200 in free bets when they make a deposit then bet $1 or more on either college or pro football. Simply make a deposit of $5 or more to your DraftKings account and place a minimum $1 bet on a NCAA or NFL football game. After your bet is placed your account will be credited with eight free $25 bets. The free bets expire after 7 days and are sticky with any free bet money withdrawn from your withdrawal amount upon cashout request. Free bets are not valid for live bets, parlays, cashout bets, voided bets and odds boosts.
As of this review no bonus codes are required any more. All new players need to do to redeem this bonus is to simply make your first deposit of $5 or more and you’ll automatically receive the deposit bonus.

$1,000 Deposit Bonus
DraftKings also offers new players using their mobile app a 20% deposit match bonus on their first deposit. The welcome bonus has a max amount of $1,000. Depositing more than $5,000 will not yield a larger bonus. The bonus is valid for play in DraftKings DFS, sportsbook bets of -300 or longer odds and casino game play. The wagering requirement has a rollover of 25x the bonus amount.
Wagering Requirements
That 25x rollover is used to calculate a wagering requirement. For the $1,000 deposit bonus this is the amount of money you must wager before you receive the full bonus amount. Unlike bonuses where you must playthrough the wagering requirement before you can cash out, $1 of the bonus is credited to your account for each $25 you play at DraftKings. Regardless of when you receive the bonus money, the playthrough is calculated the same way. Multiply your bonus amount by the rollover number to calculate the amount of money you must wager in order to receive the full bonus amount. With a 25x rollover for example, if you deposit $100 and receive a $20 bonus, the wagering requirement is $500 that must be played in order for you to receive the $20 deposit bonus.
The bonus you get when you make your first deposit are site credits. That means the bonus money must be wagered at DraftKings’s DFS contests, the sportsbook or their casino and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Here are some other requirements that must be met for the bonus to count against completion of the wagering requirements:
- Bets made with bonus money must be on events with odds longer than -300
- Wagering requirements must be fulfilled within 90 days. After 90 days bonus credits will not be released to your account.

Depositing Money

Withdrawing Money
Withdrawals at DraftKings Sportsbook is different from withdrawing from their DFS product. The good news is that if you’re already a DraftKings DFS player their sportsbook actually has more payout options:
